The story of Gideon. In tweets.

We love reading stories, and nothing beats the true, it-happened-long-time-ago kinds. One of our favourite books is the Bible, and Jean petit loves his 101 stories from the Bible book. In the confusion of last week (a misplaced 'clean the house' priority) jp and I couldn't read the story of Gideon together...
... and like a good homeschooling mom...
I delegated the work to the homeschooling dad.

The next day, to make sure dada had read him the correct story,  to see how much jean petit remembered of it, I asked him about Gideon.

He glanced up from his toy car at the picture on the book,
pointing at Gideon said,
THAT is Gideon
And went back to play.
Hmmm...
Like a good 'school' teacher, I wanted a complete answer.
(A 'complete' answer is something that doesn't begin with That or It or Because and is similar to the sentence on the book but a little different!!)

Yes. But what did Gideon do?
Not looking up from his toy
He told everyone to drink water.
I wasn't satisfied with all that he had learnt!
And then what happened?
Clutching his toy, he finally sat up.
The priests started blowing their trumpets.. toot toot.
Then he stopped.
And..?
I prodded.
That's when we reached the end of the page.
!!!

He sure knows how to get around me!
